Advices to avoid Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) | Heart Disease Risk Factor Avoidance on my Knowledge

Coronary Hearr Disease Prevention, Hot Discussion Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is one of the leading causes of death India, Many factors paves the way for Indians have made CHD the killer of some 7 million worldwide each year.

A studies of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) have shown that not only do Indians have the highest rate of CHD, their death rate from the disease is 50 to 300 percent higher than that of Americans, Europeans, Chinese and Japanese.

CHD is such a Killer disease and so I did a a search and made conversation with some cardiologist and got some ways to avoid such a kind of Heart Disease

Here is the Synopsis to avoid coronary Heard Disease

  1. Quit Smoking
  2. Eat healthy vegetables, fish and grains
  3. Reduce the intake of salt
  4. Reduce stress and tension
  5. Get active and do some exercise
  6. Don’t forget your kids, feed them healthy low cholesterol foods.
  7. Do a periodical checkup.


1. Smoking – Reduce it:

     Smoking leads to 20 percent of all cardio vascular disease, if u quit smoking your risk of CHD will reduce to 50% in 12 months

2. Eat Vegetables:

     Foods high in saturated fat and cholesterol can raise levels of cholesterol in the blood and arteries, use oil and ghee sparingly, for every 10 percent above acceptable levels, the risk of CHD increases by 20 percent

3. Reduce Salt intake:

     Foods high in sodium ( such as soya sauce and nano sodium glutamate) contribute to high blood pressure, increasing the risk of stroke.  High blood pressure is often symptoms, making it crucial to have a simple blood pressure test.

4. Reduce Your Stress:

      One of the biggest enemy of heart disease is the job stress.  So keep your brain tensioon free.  Find your time to relax.  Try yoga and Meditation.

5. Don’t forget Your Kids:

     It takes about 20 years for coronary arteries to block up which means parents have to take some preventive measures to avoid heart disease for their children by serving healthy food at home and limiting junk foods.  Help your children to maintain a balanced physical activity instead of being in home in front of TV or Computer always.

7. Have periodical Medical Check up.

This Tip is valid for everyone especially for you people whose close relations died of heart disease or stroke before the age of 60.  So be careful don’t ignore any symptoms, do health checkup often.

     Let’s do some preventive measures and avoid heart diseases.
